Luke VanDeWalle has spent more than two decades leading the work he now coaches. He began as a Teach For America teacher in the Arkansas Delta, founded KIPP Delta Collegiate High School — where every graduate was accepted to college and the school was ranked #2 in Arkansas by U.S. News & World Report — and served as Chief Academic Officer of KIPP Delta Public Schools, growing the network from four schools to six across three communities.
He has coached more than twenty school leaders and executive directors in cities across the country — with two-thirds of their schools outperforming local counterparts in math and ELA. Since founding VanDeWalle LLC in 2021, his clients have spanned Houston, Milwaukee, Tulsa, San Antonio, and Indiana, including the Indiana Charter School Board, the Indianapolis Mayor's Office of Education Innovation, and The Mind Trust.
The approach is student-centered and grounded in equity — especially in historically underserved communities — with a bias toward sustainable growth over quick fixes.
